Expanding Uk's Super Fast Broadband Network Could Blight Countryside

1,000 miles of telegraph poles and overhead cables that could “impair” the views of many households, could be erected to expand Britain's superfast broadband network.
Government plans to relax planning laws to make it easier for telecom firms to install overhead lines and street-level cabinets. Planning curbs on overhead lines would effectively be removed for five years.
